Program Schedule

Day and half-day programs--how a typical day works:

Classes at Makemie Woods are designed to last an hour and fifteen minutes each. A half-day program for 3rd-6th graders include two programs and a whole day program can include up to four. Lunch can either be provided at a cost from our kitchen or students can bring their own sack lunches.

Residential Programs:
If one day simply does not seem like enough to cover all the things you'd like to do, consider staying overnight. Makemie Woods also operates as a camp and conference center so we are well suited to provide overnight accommodations. Even if you're coming from a distance and want to visit Williamsburg or Jamestown think about staying with us.

Outreach Programs:

Most of our programs are designed with the intention of students visiting our property for day or half-day visits. If a visit to our property just isn’t possible this spring most of our curriculum can be modified and brought to you.
